As long as you are relying on your own skill to answer the questions and not researching each one on Google, it should take you about 7 minutes to complete each level.
The tests have a 15 minute time limit.
The first test covers the Fundamentals, which are the base skills you need to work the basic functions of the program. The next level is the Businesspersons’ Benchmark which is a businessperson should pass to be sure they are using Microsoft Office to their advantage.
If you pass the assessment you get a certificate of completion which displays your results.
The certificates can be downloaded from your dashboard (Under the “My Tools” menu).
No, you only have one chance to complete the assessment, which is set up this way to ensure a fair and valid assessment it made.
Microsoft Office can either hinder or help you in your work. If you spend more time trying to figure out how to do something in Excel than it actually takes to do it, then Excel is actually slowing you down.
If you have the skills at the “Businesspersons’ Benchmark” level, then yes, Excel and Microsoft Office will actually help you get more done because you will think of clever ways to use it – for example, we have a customer who now uses Excel to print his cheques – he was hand writting them before. We have others who use Excel in their sales process, PowerPoint in their marketing process – the uses are endless.
There is absolutely no cost involved for you – all we require for you to take any of these assessments is that you leave your details with us so we can send you the certificates and get in touch with you later about other products that might interest you.
Yes you can. In exchange for using this tool, all we ask is the opportunity to submit a proposal for training based on the results of the assessment (if training is required).
The results are shown on this page: http://assessments.upskillhub.com/assessment-manager-dashboard/. If you have checked that page and the results you are looking for are not there, it is most likely the user didn’t use the correct invite code when they signed up. Tell the user to click on the “My Tools” menu and select “Assessment Dashboard”. On that page, click the View Profile link and make sure the Invite code is the same invite code you choose when registering. They can enter or update the invite code themselves. You can check your invite code by clicking on the “My Tools” menu and selecting the “Update Profile” link. Once they have done that, refresh your dashboard and the results should appear.
Yes, please send the certificate to contact@upskillhub.com and we will reply with a simple yes/no answer. We do not provide any other information other than whether the certificate provided to you matches the records in our system. We cannot guarantee the identity of the person.
