How these tests work

In order to take the test, we require you register on this website.

Our tests are totally free – you will not be charged for any part of these tests.

You need to get 75% correct to pass a level and you have 15 minutes to complete the test.

What do the levels mean?

If you’re not interested in a serious evaluation of your skills and all you want is a quick certificate to add to your CV, then these tests are not for you.

The questions are created in a way that makes it especially hard to guess – we do this because we are more interested in giving you valuable feedback than handing out certificates wholesale.

The Fundamentals

This level would be ok for someone who doesn’t use Outlook for work – a home user or student.

The Businesspersons’ Benchmark Level

This level would be the lowest acceptable level for anyone using Excel in a business setting.
